Dear Learners
College level exams ask for making sentences using IDIOMS. However, the examiner does not require the meaning of IDIOM. The students are asked to make such sentences that may make the meaning of an IDIOM else clear. The helping books contain more than 300 idioms which confuse the readers. This page offers a list of the most important (only 41) IDIOMS that have been repeated in previous exams time and again. For convenience, the sentences for idioms have been kept short and easy.
